VEHICLE LOAD RESPONSIVE VALVE A load responsive valve in brake control equipment for a railway car has a sensor for the load of the vehicle to which it is mounted and has inlet and outlet ports, where a fraction of the inlet port pressure is applied to the outlet port and a by-pass operated in accordance with a sensed loaded condition. The inlet port is connected to a dummy reservoir when in unloaded condition.
