Device for the automatic advancement of parts. In various automated industrial operations, it is desirable to advance parts of different types. Thin, light parts have hitherto been difficult to feed but this has been solved by a groove 5 shaped for the part being placed diagonally on the inner side of the four longitudinal sides of the magazine 2, which is rotatable in its stand 1. The depth of the groove is dependent upon the thickness of the part and is made no deeper than to allow only one part to fall down into the groove, in other words two parts cannot find room in terms of width but are accommodated in a queue one behind the other, which means that only those which have descended into the groove can be transported up to the emptying position in which they roll or slide out through the discharge end 6 and into the queuing tube 4 to await the following stage. <IMAGE> |
