PURPOSE:To totally simplify a wiring system and enlarge the working space in an office by integrally covering a synthetic resin base layer with an outer surface layer, and by embedding a circuit board packaged with electronic parts in the base layer with the packaging surface of the circuit board facing downward. CONSTITUTION:In a tile carpet 1, a transparent synthetic resin base layer 2 having a predetermined thickness is covered integrally with an outer surface layer 3 in a laminated condition, and a circuit board 5 packaged with several kinds of electronic parts 4 is embedded in the base layer 2 in the substantially center section of the latter, with the packaging surface of the circuit board 5 facing downward. An electronic circuit composed of the above-mentioned electronic parts 4 is an interface electronic circuit for connecting terminal units such as personal computers or the like to a predetermined data processing network, an interface electronic circuit for telephone communication, or the like. Receptacles for connecting the terminal units A or telephones to the electronic circuit are provided on an area where a part of the outer surface layer is removed and the upper surface of the base layer is exposed. |
