PURPOSE:To reduce the generation of the defective page turn-over of a bankbook by pushing down a turn-over hold-down rubber, bringing the rubber into contact with a roller and cleaning the surface of the turn-over hold-down rubber by sliding when a sensor detects the failure of page turn-over. CONSTITUTION:A bankbook is inserted onto a paper guide 2 from the direction of the arrow A in the figure, and carried to the deliver side of the guide 2 by a feed roller 3, a pressure roller 5 and a mini-roller 4. The position sensors 8-11 of the bankbook and a sensor 12 detection page turn-over failure are fitted on its midway of a carrying path. When the friction coefficients of the surfaces of page turn-over hold-down rubbers 6 are reduced by fouling, slips are generated even by pushing and page turn-over fails, the bankbook is forwarded up to the positions of (6) in the figure. The rubbers 6 are lowered, the mini-rollers 4 are brought into contact, and pulse-feed is conducted. Consequently, the fouling of the surfaces of the rubbers 6 is removed by sliding with the rollers 4. Operation is returned to the turn-over operation of the bankbook, and the turn-over operation of the bankbook is resumed. |
