PURPOSE:To improve power efficiency by forming superconductive wirings for applying a high frequency magnetic field to a substrate of a plasma display panel which is filled with noble gas by selecting display dots and electrolytically dissociating the noble gas with energy of the high frequency magnetic field to restrict loss of electric power for charging/discharging. CONSTITUTION:When a high frequency current flows through wirings 20 and 21 made of an oxide superconductor with a high critical temperature Tc when its electric resistance is zero, a high frequency magnetic field is applied to a display dots section 18 to excite the noble gas so as to produce visible rays for display. This extremely restricts loss of electric power due to charging/ discharging occurred when a plasma display panel is operated. This results in the plasma display panel effectively consuming the electric power. |
