PURPOSE:To attain the debugging while a user system is not completed even concerning an I/O handler and to improve a debugging efficiency by providing an input output port for serial communication having a parallel-serial converting means. CONSTITUTION:At the time of being the emulation of a user program by an emulator, a serial I/O port SIO having a shift register for serial and parallel conversion is provided, and connected with a CRT terminal TERM by a cable CBL. The port SIO executes for the function of the serial port of the user system and the serial communication is executed at the section of a CRT. Consequently, an I/O port for emulation is assigned to the I/O space of a processor MPU for executing for the function, an MPU executes the input output instruction in accordance with the user program of the debugging object and thus, the key input from a CRT can be executed. Thus, since even concerning an I/O handler, the debugging while the user system is not completed, can be executed, the debugging efficiency can be improved. |
