<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate manufacture to fit automatic assembling and improve production efficiency by insert-molding a resistive base plate with terminals into a case and a slider into a rotor and caulking a part of the case to cause the case to rotatably hold the rotor. CONSTITUTION:A variable resistor is formed by insert-molding a resistive base plate 1 with terminals into a case 2 and also a slider 4 into a rotor 3, and by caulking a part of the case 2 to cause the case to rotatably hold the rotor. That is, a + shaped groove 3a for a screw driver is formed in the upper surface of the case 3, and a circular-ring-shaped skirt 3c is formed in the lower part of the case 3 to face an elastic body 8 on the substrate 1. Further, a base plate part 4a of the slider 4 is integrally fixed to the lower part by insert-molding.</p> |
