<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the org. matter removal rate and NH4 based N nitrification rate an to efficiently purify sewage by fluidizing sewage and a porous calcium silicate hydrate granular body in an aeration tank while aerating the sewage, sending both into a settling tank and settling the sludge and granular body. CONSTITUTION:In the purification of the sewage such as domestic waste and industrial waste water, the sewage introduced into the aeration tank 41 is fluidized along with the porous calcium silicate hydrate granular body having 50-90% porosity while being aerated. The sewage and the granular body are transferred to the settling tank 51, and the sludge in the sewage and granular body are settled. The pH of the sewage is easily kept at 6-8 such purification, and the org. matter removal rate and NH4 based N nitrification rate are enhanced. When the sewage contains phosphorus compds., the compds. are efficiently adsorbed, the sludge is efficiently settled, and the amt. of excess sludge is reduced.</p> |
