<p>PURPOSE:To realize simplified constitution by using a translation mode setting means as a display language setting means for marked word access. CONSTITUTION:The device concerns to an electronic translator available for mutual translation between at least two languages. This electronic translator is equipped with a means of marking words and a means of accessing the marked words; and a translation mode setting means 1 serves as a display language selection switch for marked word access and when said translation mode setting means 1 is in English-to-Japanese mode, marked words are all displayed in English. When the means 1 is in Japanese-to-English mode, marked words are displayed in Japanese. Then, one means is allowed to serve as both means, i.e. the translation setting means and display language setting means, thus simplifying the constitution of this device.</p> |
