PURPOSE:To charge electrostatically and uniformly a photosensitive body, and to improve the durability of a brush roll by winding a roll core in spiral with a conductive brush which has thin-diameter fiber implanted at both side edges of basic fabric and large-diameter fiber at the remaining part. CONSTITUTION:The thin-diameter fiber 2a is implanted at both side edges of the base fabric 1, and the large-diameter fiber 2b is implanted uniformly between the both to constitute the conductive brush 3. This conductive brush 3 is wound spirally around the surface of the roll core 4a without any gap at the seam to form the brush roll 4, which has the flexible thin-diameter fiber 2a at the seam part of the base fabric 1, so when the brush roll 4 contacts a photosensitive body 5, the flexible thin-diameter fiber 2a eliminates the gap of the conductive fiber 2 at the seam of the base fabric, charging the photosensitive body 5 electrostatically and uniformly. The remaining part uses the large-diameter fiber 2b, so hair points never decrease even in long-period use. |
