PURPOSE:To form a heat sensitive transfer material with low energy printing by providing three or more heat fusible ink layers on a base material, and providing adhesive layers having larger adhesive strength at positions nearer to the base material at the intermediate of the ink layer. CONSTITUTION:Three or more heat fusible ink layers are laminated on a base material made of polyester film, polyethylene film, polypropylene, capacitor paper, etc., through an adhesive layer in such a manner that the adhesive strengths of the adhesive layers are larger at layers nearer to the base material to form a heat sensitive transfer material. Heat fusible ink is prepared by melting and kneading colorants such as carbon black, dye, wax, etc. The adhesive layer has a function of an adhesive control layer, includes polybutadiene, etc., and has larger adhesive strength at the layer nearer to the base material by means such as for reducing the quantity of wax in the adhesive layer at the position nearer to the base material film. |
