PURPOSE:To improve apparent decorative properties of an outer peripheral edge part or a side edge part of a product by extending a parting surface of a movable-side mold plate onto the fixed-side mold plate side and by providing a clearance between the two mold plates at the time of clamping so that the restorability of each pile of cloth be maintained. CONSTITUTION:A parting surface 14 of a movable-side mold plate 11 is extended onto the fixed-side mold plate 10 side. Accordingly, a rolled-in part 15a of cloth 15 is held on a mold surface of a mold plate 11 between a side edge 12a of a cavity 12 and the surface 14, and only the fore end part thereof is positioned on the surface 14. When a resin molded body 13 and the cloth 15 are integrated with each other, accordingly, the rolled-in part 15a is held along a mold surface A positioned substantially along the direction of clamping of the mold plates 10 and 11. In this part, in addition, a clearance l in such a degree as not to impair the restorability of piles of the cloth 15 is set between the mold plates 10 and 11. Therefore, no fall of the piles of the cloth 15 occurs in the rolled-in part 15a and surface draping similar to the one of a general part of the cloth 15 is secured. |
