PURPOSE:To improve the resistance of a yellow image to color fading and preservable property by incorporating specific yellow couplers and prescribed ascorbic acid compds. into the above photosensitive material. CONSTITUTION:Respective >=1 kinds of the benzoyl acetoanilide type 2 equiv. yellow couplers (e.g., the couplers expressed by the formula I) and the ascorbic acid compds. (e.g., L-ascorbic acid) are incorporated into the photosensitive material for color photographing, etc. Both the couplers and the compds. can be added to the same emulsion layer. In the formula, R1 denotes aryl; R2 denotes H, halogen, etc.; R3 denotes halogen, alkyl, etc.; X denotes a heterocycle bound to a coupling active position by an N atom or aryloxy; l denotes 0 to 4; the compd. expressed by the formula II, etc., are usable for the coupler expressed by the formula. |
