PURPOSE:To keep a stable operation irrespective of a presence of external disturbance by a method wherein a heating calorie of combustible gas corresponding to a difference of operating parameters, a flow rate of combustible gas and a degree of difference of an amount of generation of a char per unit time are detected and operating parameters are varied under on-interference state. CONSTITUTION:A heating calorie Hg of combustible gas in a coal fired combustible gas generating device during operation, its flow rate Gg and an amount of generation of a char per unit time Gc are calculated and then they are applied to a difference discriminating circuit 25. The difference discriminating circuit 25 may calculate each differences DELTAHg, DELTAGg an DELTAGc between the target value set in a setting circuit 21 and a value during operating calculated in a calculation circuit 24 and then it may give to a non-interference control circuit 27. The non-interference control circuit 27 may control amounts of operation of non-interference operating parameters lambda, Go and Gcoal in order to decrease difference values of DELTAHg, DELTAGg and DELTAGc to be controlled in response to a content of a memory stored.
