PURPOSE:To easily calculate the hit ratio of a cache memory with a read counted value by providing a microprocessor for debugging to output a hitting signal, first and second counters or the like. CONSTITUTION:A micro-processor 1 for debugging builds in the cache memory of one block and four words and when the data to be memory-accessed are at the cache memory, the cache memory is accessed with one clock cycle. By synchronizing to the fall of a clock signal 5, a hitting signal 6 is outputted. A first counter 2 counts the number of the times in which the memory access of the processor 1 is hit to the cache memory and a second counter 3 does not hit to the cache memory, and counts the number of words transferred from the external memory to the cache memory. Thus, by the counted value read from counters 2 and 3, the hit ratio of the cache memory can be easily calculated. |
