PURPOSE:To improve intergranular corrosion resistance at the time of using in sensitive range by executing an overaging treatment after executing the specific shot peening treatment on surface of an anstenits series stainless steel member. CONSTITUTION:The austenite series stainless steel-made member has defect, which Cr-shortage zone is developed at near the crystal grain boundary, that is, the sensitive structure is developed, and the sensitivity to the intergranular corrosion and intergranular type stress corrosion crack becomes high at the time of using while exposing this at 500-850 deg.C for the fixed time. In order to prevent the above defects, after executing plastic-deforming with the shot peening on surface of the anstenite series stainless steel-made member so that the arc height A comes to 0.1-0.5mm, by executing the overaging treatment heating in the above sensitive temp. range, the development of the intergranular corrosion and the intergranular type stress corrosion crack is prevented even at the time of using this in the sensitive range. |
