PROCESS FOR PRODUCING A HALOBENZENE

摘要

The method for preparing halobenzenes used as raw material of medicine and agricutural chemicals comprises: (a) putting 5g of Ltype zeolite and 92.1g (1M) in a reaction flask; (b) adding 1.0g of monochloroacetate to the above flask and agitating at 70≰C for 30 mins.; (c) reacting the mixture with chlorine gas for 4 hrs; (d) analyzing the reaction product with gas chromatography to obtain 74.2% yield of P-chlorotoluene.
