PURPOSE:To prevent given blending ratio from varying because of falling off a part of metallic fiber by pressing plastic coating which is extrusion molded on a long metallic fiber aggregate and adhering a plastic coated inner surface to an outer peripheral surface of the long metallic fiber aggregate. CONSTITUTION:A plastic chip material 1 including metallic fiber is a strip material consisting of a long metallic fiber aggregate 2 and a plastic coating 3. The long metallic fiber aggregate 2 is constituted of 50 pieces of copper fibers of 50 micron diameter (bundle diameter 0.4mm), metallic fibers other than copper fibers such as copper alloy, iron, ferroalloy (stainless or the like) or metal plated on said metals may also be used according to compatibility with shield characteristics and plastic. Plastic coating 3 is PPO, and polystyrene, ABS, polypropylene PPE or the like is used instead of PPO according to the shape of a casting and its molding process. The plastic coating 3 is pressed by a Teflon roll immediately after being extrusion molded into a tube shape and shows the flat press deformation. |
