PURPOSE: To improve the certainty in operation by keeping a gear transmission stage so long as the engine speed is not over the upper and lower limit values or a selector lever 1 in a second shifting lane is not shifted when the selector lever is introduced from a first shifting lane to the second shifting lane. CONSTITUTION: This circuit device for automatic transmission can switch a selector lever 1, from a first shifting lane 2 to a second shifting lane 13 by way of a transverse lane 12, and the transmission stage of the four forward stages can be manually shifted by shifting the selector lever in the second shifting lane 13. On this occasion, a shifting unit 23 of an electronic controller 11 inputs a signal of a sensor 14 which detects the shifting of the shifting lanes, and keeps the operating state of the gear transmission stage so long as the speed of an internal combustion engine 18 is not over the upper limit and the lower limit of the speed, or the selector lever 1 in the second shifting lane 13 is not shifted. Whereby the certainty in operation of the automatic gear can be improved. |
