GOVERNOR VALVE FOR AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION

PURPOSE:To easily insert the retainer plate into the radial thick portion of a valve body for a valve with a long spring by forming a penetration portion on the retainer plate and forming a notch to be passed by this penetration portion on the valve body. CONSTITUTION:A primary valve 30 and the first and second secondary valves 31 and 32 are radially inserted into the valve body 12 of a governor valve. A spring 36 elastically supporting a spool 34 of the first secondary valve 31 is seated on the thick portion of the valve body 12 via a retainer plate 38, a seat portion 38a is formed in a shape penetrating into the thick portion 40, and a notch 42 through which the penetration portion 38a can pass in the axial direction is formed on the parking gear mating face 12a of the valve body 12. The spring can be easily inserted into the limited radial thick portion of the valve body for the valve with the long spring elastically supporting the spool.
