PURPOSE:To construct a continuous wall having a stable arbitrary curve by a method wherein a hole is formed by an excavator, a covering material is assembled by segments one of which has a recessed part, a hole is formed along the recessed part, and a similar process described above is repeated. CONSTITUTION:A hole is excavated by a shield excavator, cylindrical lining materials 4... each formed with a plurality of segments 5A, 5B... in the outer peripheral part of a part, being the segment 5B, of which an arcuate recessed part 6 is formed continuously in the direction of an axis, are assembled together. Further, by the shield excavator, a hole is formed along the recessed parts 6 of the lining materials 4, the lining materials 4 are assembled together in the hole, and the outer peripheral part of the covering material is engaged with the recessed part 6 of the precedingly assembled covering material 4. Through repetition of the above processes, a continuous wall 3 is formed. This method widens and stabilizes a joining surface to facilitate bringing of it into an airtight state, and enables facilitation of constitution of a curved wall surface. |
