PURPOSE:The major ingredients composed of polyalkylene polyhydric alcohol lanolin fatty acid ester and an aromatic or aliphatic polyamine is diluted with a solvent to produce semicurable type rust-proof oil for storing mechanical equipment with an activity of repelling rats and mice. CONSTITUTION:The objective rust-proof oil is prepared by mixing the major ingredients composed of polyoxyalkylene polyhydric alcohol lanolin fatty acid ester and an aromatic or aliphatic polyamine, preferably, as minor ingredients, petroleum sulfonate and an anti-oxidant and dissolving the mixture in a solvent such as xylene. EFFECT:It is highly safe on use and readily available. |
