A method for optoelectronic control of oxygen cutting provides for capturing the flame radiation of the cutter (12) before the beginning of metal cutting and evaluating the intensity of said flame (12); capturing the radiation of the metal surface (13) heated in the zone (15) where the metal cutting starts and evaluating the intensity of illumination of said surface (13); capturing the radiation of the front surface (16) of the metal cut and evaluating the intensity of illumination of said surface (16) and forming, on that basis, discrete electric control signals. Depending on the level of the electric control signals commands are given for cutting-off the supply of the burning gas and the heating oxygen to the cutter (1), for turning-on and off the supply of the cutting oxygen to the cutter (1) and for the movement of the cutter (1). A device for implementing the method for optoelectronic control of oxygen cutting comprises at least one cutter (1, 2). Each cutter (1, 2) is provided with a drive (17, 18) for its movement. The first, the second and the third optical pick-ups (9, 10, 11) of electric signals are mounted inside the channel (4) of each cutter (1, 2). The first, the second and the third optical pick-ups (9, 10, 11) of each cutter (1, 2) are electrically connected, through the first, the second and the third circuits connected in series and consisting each of an amplifier (33, 35, 37) and a former (34, 36, 38) in turn connected in series, and through a control system (41), to systems (21, 22) for feeding the burning gas as well as the heating oxygen and the cutting oxygen, and to the drives (17, 18) for moving the cutters. |
