PURPOSE: To assemble a connector part in a board with the only spring force of a contact and a alignment element by including plural contacts, which are formed in a line, so that each terminal end of a connector half is arranged in an upper side to be fitted in a board, and having the spring characteristic in the upper side part, and twisting the upper side part so as to deflect the board. CONSTITUTION: Contact elements 16, 18, 20, 22 are installed on or in each connector half 12, 14, and a terminal end is formed into upper side parts 16a, 18a, 20a, 22a. The half 12, which includes a contact, is firstly fitted to a daughter board 24, and a connection surface 25 is pushed to the daughter board 24 so as to support a board data. In this process, intermediate two upper side contact ends 18a, 20a are bent from a neutral position to a position expressed with a solid line at the time of pressing them for fitting into the board 24. Other upper side contact ends are pressed for housing in the board 24 without applying such a torque. A reinforcing plate 26 made of stainless steel is fitted, and a recessed groove 28 is engaged with a projection 30 in the vertical direction of the half 12. |
