PURPOSE:To prevent a silver image from being tinged with yellow by exposing and developing a prefogged autopositive photosensitive material contg. a silver halide emulsion having 0.21-0.40mum average particle size and 2.1-3.4g/m<2> amt. of silver applied so as to attain 2.7-4.0 max. density. CONSTITUTION:A prefogged direct positive silver halide photosensitive material contg. a silver halide emulsion having 0.21-0.4mum, preferably 0.22-0.38mum average particle size and 2.1-3.4g/m<2>, preferably 2.2-3.3g/m<2> amt. of silver applied is exposed and developed so as to attain 2.7-4.0 max. density Dm. The silver halide emulsion used is preferably a single displayed silver halide emulsion. A formed silver image can be prevented from being tinged with yellow. |
