CULTIVATION OF PSEUDOMONAS BACTERIUM

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a high-activity bacterium in a high yield by culturing a microorganism belonging to Pseudomonas genus and containing amino acid racemases while adding glycerol, etc., in such a condition that the concentration of carbon source in the culture medium is kept at <=a specified value. CONSTITUTION:A microorganism (preferably Pseudomonas putida IFO 12996) belonging to Pseudomonas genus and containing amino acid racemases is cultured while adding glycerol, ethanol and/or tartaric acid to the culture medium in such a condition that the concentration of glycerol, ethanol and/or tartaric acid in the culture medium is kept at <=0.5wt.%.
