PURPOSE: To detect whether a first antibody and a first antigen exist or not simultaneously by supplying a second antigen that is recognized by the first antibody and a second antibody that recognizes the first antigen and bringing the second antigen and the second antibody into contact with a sample. CONSTITUTION: FIV/FeLV examination is performed by applying latex particles being covered with anti-FeLV monoclonal antibody to a glass fiber filter 18 at a position 19. Similarly, latex particles covered with FIV antigen are applied at a position 20 are applied and are used to examine the FIV antibody. By incorporating positive and negative control reagents at positions 22 and 21 on a membrane 18, two complete test procedures can be carried out simultaneously, thus obtaining a clear result.
