The subject of the present invention is a retractable anti-recoil damper device. One of the main applications is the production of a support assembly 2 mounted at the end of a manipulator arm and to receive both, at least one weapon 7 and a grasping clip 3. It includes a hydraulic jack 1 having a hollow rod and providing the telescopic displacement of the said weapon 7 and a known damper device 5 of the gas spring type, with constant stiffness, at the end 22 of which is fixed the body of the weapon itself sliding in a system of slideways, the fixed part 9 of which is secured to the body 1 of the said hydraulic jack 10. <IMAGE>
