The present invention relates to equipment intended for spinal osteosynthesis, comprising an actual implant consisting of a part 1 intended for attachment to a vertebra or to the sacrum and of an open part 2, and comprising a sleeve 9, provided with a securing screw 7, fitting in the inner part of the open part of the said implant, the equipment being characterised in that the said sleeve 9, having a general cylindrical form, has a cross-section at most equal to a semi-circle, the said circle having an internal diameter of the order of magnitude of the diameter of the rod on which the said sleeve is arranged. <IMAGE>
