PURPOSE:To obtain a correct three-dimensional image signal with high grade and by synthesizing plural image signals related to the same part of a subject in a three- dimensional coordinates space from a two-dimensional fault image signal obtained in scanning from plural different positions and directions to the subject and generating one image signal. CONSTITUTION:First, a probe 11 is set in the first position and direction of the subject, and the scanning is executed. The obtained two-dimensional fault image signal is processed by a wave receiver 45 and an A/D converter 46 and inputted to an image signal converting part 47. From a position direction detector 42, the signal of the position of the probe to the origin of three-dimensional coordinates to surround the subject and the inclination angle to X, Y and Z axes is outputted, it is inputted to the image signal converting part 47, a coordinates value is operated, and it is converted to the three-dimensional image signal. By an arithmetic processing part 49, the additional mean value of the three-dimensional image signal obtained beforehand and the image signal stored in a three-dimensional image memory 48 is operated. By the arithmetic processing part 49, the additional meanvalue with the image signal stored in the three-dimensional image memory 48 is operated, and it is stored to a memory area corresponding to respective coordinates again. |
