The secondary locking device is actuated by moving the bolt 3 of the lock 2 of the door 1. It comprises a rod 9 forming a rocker arm composed of a hollow central element 13 and of two elements 8, 15 sliding in the central element 13. The top element 8 is bent and ends in a pivot pin 10 secured to the lateral part of the frame of the door above the lock 2. The bottom element 15 ends in a right angle 18. When the lock 2 is closed, the right angle 18 is housed between the door frame 5 of the door and a stop piece 19. When the lock 2 is opened, the movement of the bolt 3 (arrow D) pushes back the rod 9 which pivots about the pin 10 and the right angle 18 leaves its housing. The device can be fitted to any door, regardless of its dimensions and of the height of the lock 2. <IMAGE> |
