摘要 <p>PURPOSE: To detect an annular magnetic field with an extremely low level by providing a closed-loop core casing means for retaining cores in parallel in cooperation with first and second closed-loop core means. CONSTITUTION: Annular drive coil windings 10 and 12 are wound around the outer surface of closed loop cores 4 and 6 over the each periphery when assembling a sensor 2. The cores 4 and 6 are engaged to a specific position within each opening for constituting the H-shaped cross section shape of a closed-loop core casing 8. Then, an annular detection coil winding 14 is wound around the entire periphery of the casing 8. The sensor 2 achieves its function when the inductance of the coil winding 14 is modulated by saturating the cores 4 and 6 magnetically by causing current to flow in the coil windings 10 and 12. Current in the coil windings 10 and 12 is set so that the magnetic fields generated in the cores 4 and 6 are opposite. The cores 4 and 6 are made of a high-performance ferromagnetic material such as amorphous ferromagnetic alloy and high-nickel ferromagnetic alloy.</p>
