This device for making extemporaneous preparations by mixing the contents of two separate bottles 1, 2 is of the type comprising a first bottle 1 whose neck 4 is provided with a first means of closure 11 and with a sleeve 3 for coupling with a second bottle 2 whose neck 14 is provided with a second means of closure 23, the said sleeve 3 being arranged to allow, in addition to the coupling of the two bottles 1, 2, the opening of the means 11, 23, of closure the connecting together of the two bottles 1, 2 and then the uncoupling of the two bottles 1, 2. According to the invention, the coupling sleeve 3 encloses a spinning top-shaped device 13 with two axial central points 16, 17 traversed by a central bore 18, the spinning top-shaped device 13 being mounted in a sliding manner in the sleeve 3 in such a way that the penetration of the neck 14 of the second bottle 2 into the sleeve 3 forces the two points 16, 17 to open the means of closure 11, 23 of the bottles 1, 2 and to connect the latter together. <IMAGE>
