The invention concerns a sweeping device for diggers having a shaft and a bucket which can be pivoted by means of a hydraulic cylinder. The device comprises a holder arm 10 and a rotary brush supported by the latter. The brush can be moved between an active position and an inactive position and, in the inactive position, can be locked by means of a locking device. The latter comprises two catch elements 14, 15, of which a first one 14 is mounted on the shaft and a second one 15 is mounted on the holder arm 10. At least one 14 of these elements is movable so as to engage with the second catch element 15 when the holder arm 10 is pivoted, a spring-activated, resilient stop member 28 having the object of counter- acting any further pivoting of the holder arm in the direction towards the shaft, and the two catch elements 14, 15 can be released from engagement with each other only when the spring force in the said stop member has been overcome by further pivoting of the holder a distance inwards from the engagement position with the aid of the said hydraulic cylinder. <IMAGE> |
