POSITIVELY CHARGEABLE DRY DEVELOPER

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a clear full-color image by using a chromatic dye or pigment as a colorant mixed with a specified resin binder. CONSTITUTION:A resin binder as the principal component of a toner is composed of polyester resin (A) having <=110 deg.C softening point and styrene-acrylic resin (B) having <=110 deg.C softening point obtd. by copolymn. with a copolymerizable monomer contg. an amino group in 55:45-95:5 weight ratio of A:B and a chromatic dye or pigment is used as a colorant mixed with the resin binder. A carrier used in combination with the toner is coated with cold- setting silicone resin or further heat-treated to >=180 deg.C or coated with fluororesin in which fluorine atoms account for >=80mol% of the total amt. of univalent atoms bonding to the carbon chain. By using the resulting developer, a clear full-color image can be obtd.
