This mechanism helps us easily and quickly cut hair in irregular areas e.g. concave or uneven surfaces. It is small in size, lightweight and powered by a 1.5 - 3 volt dry cell (5). Shaving is done through rotation of the cutting tools. A motor is provided for rotation of the cutting system (4), turning a rotating turbine blade (6) which, as it turns, vacuums cut hair from the cutting area. A spring (7) is fitted to the turbine blade which conveys rotation to cutting blades (8) which are formed in the shape of a "swallow's nest" on one side, and on the other side have ridges which help secure it to the spring (7). The cutting blades (8) rotate inside a stainless steel cylinder (9), modelled into successive sections at the cutting end, resembling the shape of a "swallow's tail". |
