PURPOSE:To obtain the deodorizing material having a high effect to hydrogen sulfide, methyl mercaptan, ammonia, etc., by using the salt of a metal porphyrin deriv. converted to anion and a metal ion having the ability to form an ammine complex ion. CONSTITUTION:A compd. having the high oxidation catalyst ability to an acidic gas is suitable as the metal porphyrin deriv. converted to anion. More specific materials are preferably the phthalocyanine derivatives of iron, cobalt, nickel, manganese, etc. The metal ion having the remarkable ability to form the ammine complex ion include Ag<+>, Zn<2+>, Mn<2+>, Fe<2+>, Cu<+>, Cu<2+>, Ni<2+>, Co<2+>, etc. The structure in which the metal porphyrin is converted to anion includes the structure introduced with a sulfone group or carboxyl group in the side chain. Examples of the more specific compds. include the copper salt, silver salt, cobalt salt, etc., of cobalt phthalocanine sulfonic acid. |
