PURPOSE:To reduce the power consumption and to reduce the size of the switch by compensating a deficiency of the output of a solenoid by using a spring material in combination when the switch is switched by rotating a toggle forward and backward by the solenoid. CONSTITUTION:This optical switch consists of guide parts 2a and 2b on a substrate 1, the end part 6a of an optical fiber 5a equipped with a holder 3a, end parts 6b and 6b' of an optical fiber 5b equipped with a holder 3b, two swinging bodies 9 and 10, the toggle 13, etc. Then, when the toggle 13 is operated electrically through solenoids 20 and 21, spring materials 28 and 29 interposed between a toggle operating piece and solenoid forward/backward movement shafts 22 and 23 compensate the deficiency in the output of the solenoids 20 and 21, so while the power consumption is reduced by the small-sized solenoids 20 and 21, necessary switch operation is performed. Consequently, the switching operation is stabilized, the power consumption is reduced, and the size is also reduced. |
