Method and device for testing cable access connections

To test cable access connections, particularly crimped connections, by measuring the contact resistance between the cable and the connecting element, alternating current is conducted via the cable access connection and the alternating voltage present across the cable access connection is capacitively picked up and measured. For this purpose, a probe for picking up the alternating voltage is applied o the cable access connection fed from a power oscillator, the output signal of which probe is measured in a subsequent analysing circuit.
