摘要 PURPOSE:To aim at improvement in fuel consumption at the time of constant speed running, by installing a constant speed running gear operated by means of suction air quantity control and an air-fuel ratio regulator which controls an air-fuel mixture to be turned to the side of rarefaction after reaching the desired car speed during its operation. CONSTITUTION:Setting the output of a car speed sensor 14 to its input, the output of a constant speed running control circuit 15 consisting of a setting circuit 16, a comparison circuit 17 and an integration circuit 18 is inputted into a constant speed running actuator 7 and a suction air quantity to be supplied to an engine 1 is controlled, whereby a constant speed running gear 20 which controls car speed so as to reach the desired speed, is formed in this way. Likewise, an air-fuel ratio regulator 27 is composed of an air-fuel ratio controlling circuit 9 using an exhaust gas content concentration sensor 8 as its input and an air- fuel regulator circuit 21 inclusive of a reversal detection circuit 22 detecting the car speed reaching the desired speed by the signal from the constant speed running control circuit 15 and controls an air-fuel control actuator 6 via the compensation signal of a compensation circuit 26; after arriving at the desired car speed, the air-fuel ratio is so controlled as to be turned to the lean side.
