PURPOSE:To easily and inexpensively manufacture multiple-piece layout stamper where respective stampers are evenly arranged by joining the respective stampers to a backing member where a joining groove is provided in a condition in which the relative position of the stampers is determined by means of low fusing point glass. CONSTITUTION:A joining groove 2 is provided on a backing member 1, and a low fusing point glass 3 for coupling is filled to the coupling groove 2. Next, group forming stampers 4 of plural information recording media consisting of quartz or tempered glass are positioned and aligned, and the group forming stampers 4 of the plural information recording media are joined to the backing member 1. Thus, by embedding the stick low fusing point glass 3 for joining to the coupling groove 2, the low fusing point glass 3 is held in the groove 2, it does not move, and since the plural stampers 4 are positioned and aligned with the joining groove 2 as a standard, the plural stampers 4 can be evenly aligned in the fixed relative position. Thus, the multiple-piece layout stamper 5 where the respective stampers 4 are evenly aligned can easily and inexpensively be obtained. |
