In further investigations with the mixtures, described in German Patent Application P 3822658.8, of diluted strong mineral acids, phosphonic acids, substituted and unsubstituted carboxylic acids and thiocarbamides, it has been found that the addition of polyhydric alcohols can be of advantage in the use as flux in printed circuit technology.
