PURPOSE: To maintain a correlation among parts plotted by means of a regular plotting operation by storing a related command in a macro-list and executing it by a system when it is decided that the X and Y-coordinates of a cursor are in a command area. CONSTITUTION: A gear 521 has the half diameter of a gear 511 and the diameter of a gear 531 is the same as the gear 521. The Y-coordinates of the gears 521 and 531 are the same as the Y-coordinate of the gear 511. The X and Y- coordinates and the radius of the gear 511 are supplied as parameters when a macro-instruction to which the geometric form group belongs is executed for generating a graphic. A user positions the cursor 16 on a display area 12 or inputs the X and Y-coordinate of the center point 503 of a circle 511 through a keyboard and inputs the radius of the gear and constitutes the circle 511. Then, the X-coordinates of a point 513 and the X and Y-coordinates of a center point 523 are inputted and a circle 521 is constituted. Then, a circle 531 is constituted in the same way.
