<p>The invention concerns a method for separation of plastic particles P from a suspension L, for example, from a cellulose pulp or cellulose stock suspension in which the fiber block is broken down to release plastic particles P. In the method turbulent streams are produced in said suspension L, with which particles P being separated with streams are separated from the rest of the pulp by breaking down the fiber network, whereupon the lighter particles P are separated. In the method such treatment is directed toward suspension L obtained in the preceding stage producing a concentration difference that prevents reformation of the fiber network and thus bonding of the plastic particles P to it.
