Blow-moulded three-handled canister together with a device and method for the production thereof

In the case of a canister blow-moulded from plastic and having three handles, the upper part is formed with the handles of two injection-moulded part shells which are symmetrical with respect to the central separating plane of the canister. A part shell 22 of this kind has an outer handle 24 and half 27 of the central handle. The part shells are inserted into the halves of the blowing mould before the extruded flexible-tube material is introduced. After the mould has been closed and the flexible tube inflated to form the canister a wall made of blow-moulded plastic rests on the inside against the part shells and also the cavity between the halves 27 of the central handle is filled with this plastic. The canister thus has three very stable handles which lie well in the hand. Particularly suitable for 20 and 30 litre canisters. <IMAGE>
