PURPOSE:To improve the charge-restoration property by regulating the antimony amount in a lead alloy grid to be 0.005wt.% to 0.25wt.% to the amount of the positive electrode active substance. CONSTITUTION:The maintenance property is related strongly with the antimony amount in the grid alloy, and the antimony amount in the lead alloy grid is regulated to be 0.005wt.% to 0.25wt.% to the positive electrode active substance amount. The grid alloy is formed by combining a lead-calcium-tin system alloy and a lead-antimony system alloy. As a result, while the balance of the self- discharge amount of the active substance and the overcharge amount is maintained by the ratio of the antimony, the adhesion property at the interface of the active substance and the grid is improved. Consequently, the charge- restoration property can be improved. |
