PURPOSE:To know the time point when an alarm signal is produced at the reception side by adding the time data on the detection to the alarm data corresponding to the alarm signal and then transmitting the alarm data. CONSTITUTION:An alarm detecting circuit 2 detects an alarm signal produced at a terminal (not shown in the diagram) an converts the alarm signal into the corresponding digital data to transmit it via a cable 3. An alarm information transmission part 7 contains a buffer memory to store the received alarm data and time data. Then the part 7 sends both alarm and time data stored in the buffer memory to a controller (not shown in the diagram) when a transmission request of the alarm information is received from the controller via a cable 8. Thus, the controller can acquire the alarm data together with the present time data on the detection (production) of an alarm signal corresponding to the alarm data.
