PURPOSE:To obtain a sterilizing stand for an operation instrument prevented from recontamination by forming a sterilizing gas passage, which connects the sterilizing gas injection port provided to the side wall part of a support post to the sterilizing gas exhaust port in the vicinity of the upper end part of said post, in the support post. CONSTITUTION:An operation instrument A packed in cloth B is placed on the tray 13 mounted on mount stand 12 and hermetically surrounded and closed by a cover member 22. sterilizing gas is injected in the tray 13 from a sterilizing gas injection port 14 to be discharged from a sterilizing gas discharge port 15 to fill the interior of the cover member 22 with the sterilizing gas and the sterilizing gas injection port 14 is hermetically sealed by a cock means 24. The sterilizing gas discharged from the sterilizing gas discharge port 16 is brought to the sufficient contact state with the operation instrument A placed on the tray 13 to perform sterilization. In starting operation, the cover member 22 is opened to take out the operation instrument A and, while the sterilized state of the operation instrument A is held, said instrument A can be used in a state not contaminated at all. |
