PURPOSE:To improve the strength and surface stability of reinforced plastic resin by coating the recess of the product shape of a lower mold with mold release agent, depositing urethane elastomer resin of predetermined thickness thereon, disposing a matlike fiber reinforced material, closing the mold with an upper mold, pouring polymer material, curing it, and removing the molded form from the mold. CONSTITUTION:The recess 1a of a product shape of a lower mold 1 is coated with mold release agent 2, and urethane elastomer resin 4 is then deposited thereon. A matlike fiber reinforced material 5 is disposed thereon, an upper mold 6 is set, and the molds are closed. Polymer material 8 is poured as a reinforcing agent from the pouring inlet 6a of the mold 6, and infiltrated into the material 5. After reaction curing, a mold form is removed from the mold to obtain a reinforced plastic structure 10. The agent 2 is made of wax or surfactant, and long-chain polyol is, for example, employed as the resin 4. Thus, the structure 10 can be formed in an arbitrary thickness to enhance its strength and surface stability. |
