PURPOSE:To simplify the correction of a designated time and an alarm time, to facilitate clearing of an erroneously-corrected time, and to improve the operability, by providing a touch switch for correcting a time on a dial. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of display segments 12 and 14 for an electronic time display are arranged radially on a dial 10, and each of the display segments are divided in two in the direction of the diameter. Furthermore, LED for discriminating the displays of an hour and a minute according to the length of a segment which is lighted, transparent touch switches S16 for correction which are provided corresponding to a plurality of display segment positions selected on the outer surface of the dial 10, and a correction mode selecting switch are provided. S16 turns effective in a correction mode, and the display of the position of S16 is made at a display segment corresponding thereto. In addition, a corrected time is displayed on the dial 10 by the operation of S16, and when S16 is operated successively more than prescribed times within a fixed time period after the correction of a time is conducted, the corrected time is cleared, a segment corresponding to S16 performs the display of the position of S16, and thus the re-correction of the time is enabled. |
